Yes, a professional captain is typically provided or available for most private rentals in Hong Kong, including luxury catamarans, motor yachts, and sailing vessels. Pack eco-friendly sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, swimwear, a phone charger, and a light jacket for Hong Kong breezes. Clean soft-soled shoes or bare feet are required onboard. Always check your vessel's profile first to confirm if towels, food, and drinks are included, or if outside provisions are permitted. If bringing your own refreshments, choose stable finger foods like wraps, sandwiches, or cut fruit. To protect premium yacht upholstery, strictly avoid fragile glassware, red wine, messy sauces, or loose grains like rice and crumbly pastries that scatter in the wind.

Yes, sunset boat charters are one of the most popular private charter options in Hong Kong. These shorter private charters are ideal for couples, families, birthdays, proposals, celebrations, or relaxed evening cruises along the coast.

Food and beverage inclusions in Hong Kong depend on the vessel class. Luxury yachts frequently offer full catering, open bars, or onboard chefs, while day boats may only include light snacks and water. Always check the "Trips and Rates" section first to see what is included or if outside provisions are permitted. If bringing your own refreshments, prioritize neat finger foods, wraps, and bottled drinks. To protect premium yacht upholstery from sudden sea breezes, strictly avoid red wine, fragile glassware, and loose grains like rice.

Passenger capacity in Hong Kong is determined by vessel size and coast guard safety laws. Most luxury motor yachts and catamarans are legally capped at a maximum of 12 guests. Smaller sport boats typically host 4 to 8 passengers. For larger corporate groups or events exceeding 12 guests, please view our specialty high-capacity vessels or contact our team to arrange a multi-boat flotilla.

Safety is our absolute priority in Hong Kong. If severe weather or sea conditions prevent safe navigation, your captain will offer alternative coastal routes, reschedule your trip, or the charter operator will provide a full refund. Light overcast or brief rain showers do not automatically cancel your excursion.
