Overview

There's something so magical about Hong Kong, and you’re about to discover what with one of our friendly hosts. You’ll spend six hours exploring the city together, seeing the attractions and contrasts of Hong Kong. From highlights like Victoria Peak and the Ladies’ Market to the neon-soaked districts on the mainland or one of the many tranquil green spaces within the city, the sites are endless. What'll make your time in Hong Kong so special is being able to share it with somebody with authentic insight into the city’s culture and heritage.

Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

What a great way to see Hong Kong. Wai Lok designed a really good itinerary which comprised both the main sights and history, together with a visit to a more local area including a fascinating food market. We loved travelling on the tram, ferry and metro, something we wouldn't have had the confidence to do without assistance. Highly recommended!

It was our first visit to Hong Kong. We left the planning to Mark, our local guide. He asked many questions of our interests before arriving and his plans were perfect for our needs. We took the famous trolley to the mountain top, explored the older historic sections of downtown. We crossed the river by ferry and ended our tour at the art museum. Hong Kong deserves more than a single six hour day, but Mark made did his best. The tour exceeded our expectations!

A Fun Informative Day in Hong Kong

Because of the unrest in Hong Kong we were not sure what we would find. But, the day we spent with Lulu exceeded our expectations. We not only had an opportunity to see much of the city, but learned a lot about the culture (past and present) in the city. Our host, Lulu, was fantastic. This was a great way to move around the city, using several different means of public transportation, including lots of walking. My wife and I would highly recommend both City Unscripted and Lulu.
