We actually did two tours with City Unscripted in Hong Kong. The first was a 4-hour tour in Kowloon in our date of arrival with Madison and the second was two days later and an 8-hour tour of Hong Kong with Victor. Madison is a bit younger and newer to tours, but is engaging and she is pretty good with logistics. If you know what you want to see, she will get you there.
My main review is of the 8 hours with Victor. This was our day to see HK Island and he made suggestions and we had our own after watching the many Vloggers on Youtube. Our add ins were Hong Kong Park and Oddies for eggettes with ice cream and he included them both. He added in a working class neighborhood in Kowloon at the beginning with a market so we could learn how the average HKer who is not involved in financial services, lives. This included a trip to a large market and a local temple. We also took the Star Ferry to Central with a bus up Victoria Peak and the Peak Tram down. We did the mid level escalators, a ride on a ding ding, and saw neighborhoods on HK Island and learned some history as well as what is going on now with protests. Victor put it all in perspective very nicely and we saw so much. He's a pro and provides an outstanding tour. I would hope that Victor would put together his own tour video and do this thing on a larger scale. He really is THAT good at this.
If you are reading this Victor, good luck to you and all Hong Kongese.
